Why I Became A Therapist

Meet Lauren McKay, M.A., LPC (she/her)

My journey began in the third grade when a school counselor made a lasting impact on me. Since then, I've dedicated my career to walking alongside others during their healing process. After earning my Master of Arts in Counseling and working in diverse mental health settings, I've developed an approach that is authentic, relational, and intention based. I believe everyone is unique and deserves a space to be themselves.

When I’m not in session, I enjoy spending time with my spouse and our dog, Ellie, a Corgi mix. I also love staying active with yoga and Orangetheory, catching Broadway shows at Bass Concert Hall, and singing along at concerts around town.
