EMDR Consultation

Whether you are newly trained in EMDR or working toward EMDRIA Certification, consultation provides an opportunity to strengthen your skills, build confidence, and deepen your understanding of the EMDR therapy model in a supportive and collaborative environment.

As an EMDRIA Approved Consultant-in-Training (CIT), I partner with EMDR-trained clinicians to deepen their understanding of the EMDR model, enhance clinical effectiveness, and increase confidence in their work with clients.

My consultation style is relational, supportive, and practical. I strive to create a space where consultees feel comfortable asking questions, exploring challenges, celebrating successes, and developing their own authentic EMDR therapy approach.

Consultation Services

I offer consultation for:

• Clinicians who have completed an EMDRIA approved Basic Training

• Therapists seeking support with case conceptualization

• EMDR trained clinicians wanting to strengthen protocol application

• Therapists navigating clinical blocks, stuck processing, or complex presentations

• Clinicians pursuing EMDRIA Certification

• Therapists seeking to deepen their understanding of adaptive information processing (AIP)

• Consultation around integrating EMDR with other modalities and therapeutic approaches, like Internal Family Systems (IFS)

What Can an EMDRIA-Approved Consultant in Training Provide?

As an EMDRIA Approved Consultant-in-Training, I am able to provide up to 15 consultation hours that count toward the 20 hour EMDRIA Certification requirements under the supervision of my EMDRIA Approved Consultant.

Consultation may include:

• Case consultation and treatment planning

• Guidance on EMDR protocol and procedures

• Review of target sequencing and case conceptualization

• Support with preparation and resourcing strategies

• Consultation regarding blocked processing and clinical challenges
